Well, the heat waves have officially arrived and are here to stay (for a while, at least) and I’m very (VERY) happy to no longer be pregnant! Needless to say, my cute wee babe is serving as major project inspiration lately, but the color inspo in this dry, brown summer has been lacking. To help myself (and hopefully, you) I’ve pulled together some cute, summery color pallettes to serve as inspiration for all your summer projects!

I think we all love succulents. They’re cute, they have character, and they’re so hard to kill! Just about the only plants left alive in my house are succulents.  😬

My favorites most often include soft sage and deep wine colors, which in my mind are perfect color combos for all year round.

I’m seeing sweet, tiny socks, a cozy blanket, and a warm hat in these fun but gentle colors. Of course, these items are all for colder weather but can you blame me? I’m always excited for sweater weather!

If you can think of a summer project to make with these summer colors, let me know! Meanwhile, I’ll be here enjoying the colors of summer in front of my AC and dreaming of crisp breezes!

Show us your summer makes with the hashtag #createdmakers!
