I’m so excited to introduce to you my first pattern – The Rose City Market Bag!

Named after our own city of Portland (often referred to as the Rose City or the City of Roses), where I was born and spent the majority of my childhood, this bag is perfect for all those Portland-y activities: Saturday Market shopping on a sunny day, carrying your essentials on an escapade to the coast, accompanying you to the many summer music festivals downtown – you name it! This bag will go with you and make the day seem brighter.

I’m in love with this coral and cream color combo (alliteration much?). The color blocking and different textures make this bag as cute as it is functional. Imagine creating a family of bags in coordinating colors to make your grocery trips a little more bearable. Not to mention every Portlander will love you for being an environmental hero! 😉

And this pattern works up SO quickly. You’ll have an entire collection before the sun goes into hiding and the rain makes an appearance again. A common occurrence here in Portland! 🙂

A huge thank you to my testers for helping to make sure my first pattern was readable!

The pattern is available for purchase in the Created Makers Shop! I hope you love working on it. I find it very enjoyable – easy to work on while catching up on your favorite shows!
